		<description>sounds like a paranoid and jilted broker complaining about a deal that didn't go through because he believed his own lie about the property being worth 850k when the market is tanking.  
Its in the appraisers best interest to make the deal match the appraisal and force the deal to go through so everyone can continue with their business.  so the lender can loan the money and so the borrower can own the house.</description>

There is a section of Raleigh inside the belt line (the 440 loop around Raleigh) with old houses built in the 50' and 60's that once renovated sell for $500,000 or more. Investors look for rented properties like that, but them low from the current owners and then, instead of evicting the tenants, they offer them cash to move out, renovate the property and sell it for a pretty penny.</description>

We just wrote a "How To" post about this stuff - bad Craigslist ads - drawing on the ads in our Asheville, NC area.  The aim is to educate about how to write a better Craigslist ad.

		<description>This building is hilarious... I've lived up the street for a few years, and although the neighborhood has changed SLIGHTLY, there is nothing that warrants these rents. I pay a full thousand LESS than the minimum, and that's for a 2 bedroom!
For new tenents at the Emmerson: keep in mind:
1) that lot was the biggest rat fest I've ever seen before the building was built
2) the halfway house is the reason I never walk up 3rd past dark alone
3) there are still gunshots/fights at least once a week in the area (despite the police station down the block)</description>

		<description>Dedication, at least in NY, is what it's going to take if you want this attitude to be manageable. That, while concurrently putting your energy into fixing the problem- buyers are eventually sellers, and those buyers who found themselves unrepresented in NY, and on the short end of having bought a horrible market, are pissed.
How, as a new seller, can they possibly be OK with the real estate contingent, when there's a vague feeling of having been "set up" to the extent that they didn't have any representation in a purchase? Even though it may well have been available to them? No value in their initial transaction.
That this wasn't the intention of the real estate community is irrelevant, if it is the perspective of home sellers/buyers.
Start representing the first link, so that when they move on the chain, they've had what to them is an ethical experience.</description>
