2 More Queens Plaza Hotels: Quality Inn at 39-39 30th St and Verve by Clarion at 40-03 29th St

(post by Dee) As promised, we’re going to document all the new hotels in LIC. Two more on the list: Quality Inn located at 39-39 30th Street and just down the block from the strangely built Holiday Inn, across the street from St. Patrick’s Church, the Verve by Clarion brand. Neither doing too well in terms of occupancy, as admitted by the employees there, but that’s the sign of the times. When major hotels in the city are dropping their prices, the 2nd and 3rd tier locations are not going to do well. (Did you see the one by LGA College? How about the one near Pulaski Bridge?! Crazy! We’ll document those, too.)
At least Gotham Center by Turner construction site is beaming with life in Queens Plaza!
