NYC Tax Rebate: Tell Mayor to Keep His Holiday Gift
(post by BT) Tell our mayor to keep the money. What is the point of sending me $400 at a time when New York City can’t afford it? Does it make sense? What can I do with $400? Keep the money and fix or improve something because if you send me the $400 rebate, I’m just going to put it into my account and it’s gone. What can I do with it? Oh, wait… I can buy new Christmas decor for my building! Maybe that’s what the rebates are for? Like those stimulus checks we got. I took the money, bought a Jet Blue ticket to Florida, visit my Port St. Lucie house and blew more than I received on vacation. Looking back now, I should have bought some gold with it! 
Perhaps I could buy one of these three-wheel vehicles I have seen in Paris. it’s more green and space-saving than a car. It just might be a perfect ride for a city broker to avoid being late to appointments!
