I client purchased a 2-family house in an industrial area to knock it down and build a warehouse in its place. He asked me to take a look inside to see how the previous people were living. What I saw can not be shown. I would have had pics for you to see but the image is so disgusting that words is as far I am willing to go share. When I entered the first floor apt, the smell of cat spray and human feces almost knocked me out. The hallway was full of shit (yes, feces on the walls!) and damp from cat piss. The living room had mold and garbage was everywhere. The bathroom – oh, the stench! – was beyond filthy, with urine and crap in the tub, and the toilet was broken, of course. There was no running water and no heat for the past two years. Yes, “people” were living this way. A mother of 4 children!!! A crack-head who would find enough cash to buy crack every day and leave her kids with a grandmother – a family, actually lived here! Mattresses so nasty no homeless person would sleep on them. This place was beyond hideous. I am telling you, I really went in there to take pics with intention of posting them here but when I saw this place, I said to myself ”No way, Jose!”. This place was too depressing to show, and the fact that children lived there is not entertainment material. When I entered the backyard, I was then introduced to the garage dump. At least a year’s worth of garbage was decomposing there! The owner asked the tenant why she was storing the garbage and she explained she did so because she could not keep track of the garbage pick-up days!

I said to the previous owner, “Imagine if Children’s Services were to see this?” He told me they had come a few times before and said everything was fine!!! Whoever overlooked this should be locked up. Some people try so hard to have a child, and this lowlife has 4 kids!? That’s just twisted.
