1-Stop (Shop) Super in NYC Apt Building

(post by BT) Do you live in a co-op or rental building in NYC? Is your superintendent (a.k.a. Super) a one-stop-shop for anything you need? If you need something fixed, ring him. Locked out of your place? Just call me. If you want to sell your place, no problem, he knows a Realtor. (Or: “I find you a buyer!”) Need some renovations, little paint job or a new floor? I can do that. Oh, you have someone to do the work? Then you will need to hit me off with some cash, so I don’t tell the board that you’re working with a handyman and not a licensed contractor. You need a car? Go see my buddy Jose at the dealership on Northern Blvd. Got questions for the management company or the board? See me first. Going to Europe? I have a connection – low exchange rate. Need me to walk your dog while you’re on vacation? My kids will gladly do it (for a fee). No worries, I’ll report your husband’s moves while you’re away with the kids… just remember me at Christmas time. I think you get the point. If you think your super only takes care of the building, and that he is actually on call all the time, you are nuts. Who do you think gives us Realtors Your number when you put your apartment ‘for sale by owner’…LOL, I love supers… they are the true hustlers of this great city (where we all work our asses off). Who else would take a job for a free apartment!!!

BAD REAL ESTATE AD PHOTO OF THE DAY

  1. Haha, sounds like my super. Cesar is awesome and clever. Not much of a handyman but can talk your ear off! Love the crazy pics of your bad real estate photo. Hard to believe that’s how bad they are
